Laurel Lee Hyde specializes in the resolution of business and real estate disputes, utilizing traditional litigation and appellate processes, augmented by alternative dispute resolution procedures. In addition to using such resolution procedures, Ms. Hyde is a trained arbitrator and mediator.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at San Diego (Revelle College, B.A. 1976), graduating with Highest Honors, and her law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., summa cum laude, 1980). During law school, she was a published author, and served as Associate Editor for the San Diego Law Review. Ms. Hyde was the chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") Section of the San Diego County Bar Association for 1993. She has served on the Board of Commercial Real Estate Women of San Diego (President, 1995), Palomar Christian Conference Center, and First Baptist Church of San Diego.

Ms. Hyde has addressed groups of both lawyers and real estate owners and professionals on a broad variety of topics, including small business formation, real property leasing, commercial landlord-tenant matters, escrow issues, and the use of injunctions in litigation while serving as a speaker for numerous organizations such as CEB (Continuing Education of the Bar), Lawyers Club, San Diego Trial Lawyers, and Commercial Real Estate Women. She has also authored a variety of articles on commercial landlord-tenant issues and various litigation topics. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1980.
